While a storm or two may become strong to severe with gusty winds, the main threat will be downpours leading to flash flooding.

After some areas picked up over a half-foot of rain Sunday and Monday, the ground is still very saturated. Any additional rainfall may cause flooding in areas of poor drainage, streams, and creeks.

A cold front will pass through on Thursday with showers and storms late in the day. A few may become strong to severe once again.

Drier weather returns Friday and Saturday with high pressure settling in.
