NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hamilton Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building, 229 Fenner Avenue, Sciota, Pennsylvania 18354 commencing at 6:30 p.m., prevailing time, on June 19, 2025 for the purpose of concluding the Board's deliberations and rendering Decisions in two matters currently before the Board being:
(1) The Application of 611 Land Development LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company for dimensional variances under Section 303, Schedule II and Section 603.3 of the Hamilton Township Zoning Ordinance to erect a 4 story hotel/motel which would have a roof height of 42' 8 at the main roof (excluding parapets) and a variance to disturb the Slope District to allow a disturbance of 2,974 sq. ft. of steep slopes on the Applicant's property. The property in question is located at 3481 Route PA-611, Bartonsville, Pennsylvania 18321, has been assigned Monroe County Tax PIN #12638100254574 and bearing Monroe County Tax Map Parcel No. 12.2.1.26-2 and 12.9.1.57 and is more fully described in a deed recorded in the Monroe County Recorder's Office in Record Book Volume 2501, Page 9693; and
(2) The Application of Rimrock Temple Associates which appealed the March 10, 2025 decision of the Hamilton Township Zoning Officer denying the Appellant's Application for a new freestanding sign proposed to be erected on property located at 2720 Rimrock Drive in Hamilton Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania which is owned by William J. Barger and J. Simpson Africa Masonic Association. The property in question bears Monroe County Tax Map Parcel No. 07.7.1.34-A and is located in Zoning District A. The property is presently used as a Masonic Lodge.
A copy of each Application, the full text of the Township Zoning Ordinance, and a complete copy of the Township Zoning Map are available for public inspection prior to the Special Board Meeting which inspection must occur at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building, at the aforesaid address between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday on business days which are not Federal or State public holidays. The public and all interested persons are invited to attend the public hearings.
