PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE that the Po-cono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 31, 2025 beginning at 5:00 P.M., at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 205 Old Mill Road, Suite 2, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. The purpose of the hearing is to consider AMIRE LLC's application for a variance from Section 470-34 of the Pocono Township Zoning Ordinance. That section requires 2.25 off-street parking spaces for each dwelling unit. Applicant seeks to construct 2.0 off-street parking spaces for each dwelling unit.
AMIRE LLC owns the property for which the variance is requested. The property is located at 3288 Route 611 in Pocono Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania and is further identified as Parcel ID # 12.9.1.36 and Map # 12-6371-00-77-3707. The property is located in the commercial (C) zoning district.
The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for actual copying costs) at the Township's office at the address listed above from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may par-ticipate in the proceedings.
