The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors held a meeting Monday in Monroe County to approve its annual budget and officially swear in the new township manager.

The chairwoman with the Stroud Township Board of Supervisors says they have a bit of a financial cushion so they are not rushing to find new sources of revenue.

The Glenbrook Road Bridge in Stroud Township was expected to reopen at the end of this month after being closed for over four years. But we’re told the contractor has once again run into some problems. To nearby residents dismay, the design has to be reconfigured again.
