LONG POND, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— 28/22 Sports' Alaina Losito had the chance to drive one of the stock cars here is a look at her attempt at the tricky triangle.

It's nicknamed the Tricky Triangle.

Pocono Raceway is known to be one of the toughest tracks in all of NASCAR.

But what makes this triangle so tricky?

Well I decided to test it out for myself.

Ahead of race week, I figured the only way to really get a feel for what these drivers experience was to conquer the track myself.

Once arriving at the raceway, I suited up and spent hours learning the rules of the road, from tackling each turn, following safety instructions, and mastering what they said was an experience of a lifetime

Then it was time to head out to the track.

We got our helmets and girls make sure your hair is tucked in because apparently if there is a fire that's the first to go.

Now, I definitely didn't have the courage to tackle the course right away so I had instructor Dale take me on a couple laps.

With around 20 years of experience, he went full speed giving me a feel of the raceway I was about to tackle myself.

And now it was my turn to tackle this so called tricky triangle.

Can you spot the fear in my eyes?

I was told two things before taking off.

One, that going faster is actually safer as these cars are designed to go a certain speed and two I could not let you guys down.

So, in my first Pocono Raceway experience, here I went.

And I tried my hardest to go as fast as I could, but every single lap I was told to close up.

I went around 140 miles per hour, and I don't think I was breathing the entire time.

I passed my drivers test my first time so did I pass this time?

Well I got instructor Dale's approval.

That definitely was an experience of a lifetime, one I'll never forget

And now that I've got a feel for the track, I can't wait to see it in action on race day.
