911 outage affecting all of Pennsylvania

(WBRE/WYOU)— Pennsylvania is experiencing a 9-1-1 outage, and individuals are asked to go to their nearest fire and police department or your local communication center.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency confirmed that there is an intermittent 9-1-1 outage and that people may not be able to reach 9-1-1.

Residents have been asked to contact their local fire or police departments or reach out to county communications center regarding any emergencies.
