ARRESTDetails MapOn May 10, 2025, the Pocono Township Police Department took a report regarding harassment and threats made by an individual upset over a civil matter from over 20 years prior. Through further investigation it was discovered that Kirk A. Bontempo, a 61-year-old male from Blakeslee, was sending the victim in this matter text messages and threatening voicemails after being advised by Pocono Township Police Department officers in February of no contact. Bontempo admitted to sending the messages both as himself and also disguised as his employees, despite being warned by officers. Charges have been filed on Bontempo for Terroristic Threats and Harassment.
