On April 26, 2025, at 00:46 hours, a Pocono Township Police Officer responded to a single-vehicle motor vehicle accident (MVA) on Route 611 and the I-80 off-ramp in Scotrun. During the investigation, the officer determined that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence (DUI). Further investigation revealed that two occupants, including the defendant, Anthony Paul, a 27 year old male from Bethlehem, were in possession of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and related paraphernalia. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges have been filed accordingly.
