On May 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Walmart in East Stroudsburg for a report of a retail theft. Upon arrival loss prevention provided the officer with a picture of 2 suspects, one identified as Amber Miller and the second identified as Eric Kenneth Rinaldi, who had concealed items in a bag and going past all the points of sale without paying for $41.98 worth of merchandise and fled the scene.
Charges were filed on Miller and Rinaldi. An arrest warrant was issued for Eric Kenneth Rinaldi due to the summons not being able to be delivered.
