David Frantz, Jr. was arraigned today by Magistrate Richard White charged with two counts of Receiving Stolen Property.
Detective Manny Varkanis of the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office has filed criminal charges against David FRANTZ Jr., following an investigation into allegations of stolen ATVs. The charges stem from an incident which occurred in May of 2025, when Pocono Mountain Regional Police Officers responded to an ATV crash at 233 Blossom Lane. Witnesses led officers to 194 Candle Drive, where they located the injured operator, later identified as David Frantz Jr.. During the encounter, Frantz attempted to discard a bag of suspected methamphetamine and was taken into custody.
Further investigation revealed that Frantz had been storing two ATVs on a property in Blakeslee, Pa, which was also his residence. One ATV, a Yamaha Kodiak, had been repainted and was confirmed stolen from a residence on Mailbox Road, Mount Pocono in late 2024. The same ATV had also been used in a burglary in the Mount Pocono area. The second vehicle, a 2005 Honda Rincon, was later identified as stolen from a resident in Jackson Township, PA.
Frantz was later interviewed and admitted to purchasing one of the ATVs under suspicious circumstances and possessing the second ATV on the property.
Frantz is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges and is under active probation until 2027.
FRANTZ faces charges of Receiving Stolen Property and the case is now proceeding through the judicial process.
