Burn Bans BURN BAN IN EFFECT.
Stroud Township has issued a burn ban effective immediately. This includes campfires and wood fires for outdoor food preparation. Manufactured gas grills can be used for outdoor food preparation.
East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg Borough have burning ordinances that prohibit open burning other than cooking devices.
Please be aware of this as the conditions are currently very dry and windy which is creating very dangerous wildfire conditions.
