COOLBAUGH TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after police said he broke into, flooded, and destroyed an Airbnb in Monroe County. According to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, on February 8, around 10:00 a.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Boardwalk Drive for a man who broke into a residence. Police said they learned the suspect, Daniel Celban, 33, of New York, was arrested early the night before for open lewdness and trespassed from the property after his Airbnb contract was canceled.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division Detective Kim Lippincott has arrested and charged Jessica Walters, 35 and Robert Nochella, 35, both of Stroud Township.Detectives were requested to respond with a supervisor at Monroe County Children and Youth to the residence located in Stroud Township which is occupied by Walters, Nochella, and their two minor children. The supervisor had concerns that Jessica Walters was using fentanyl in the home around the children.

Police arrested Jessica Walters and Robert Nochella, both 35 and of Stroud Township, on various drug and child endangerment charges.

CHESTNUT HILL TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) announced on Tuesday they're searching for a missing person in Monroe County. State Police explain they're searching for 82-year-old James Mills. Mills was last seen in the area of the 100 block of Hartman Lane, Chestnut Hill Township, Monroe County, on February 1, around 5:00 p.m., according to PSP.

HONESDALE, WAYNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is facing charges after investigators say she sold various drugs to a confidential informant eight times. Wayne County District Attorney’s Office According to the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office, an investigation began where a confidential informant (CI) was used to purchase narcotics from Amanda Reesey of Hawley.
