SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities say a Smithfield Township fire on Sunday has turned deadly and left two injured. On Sunday shortly after 5:00 p.m., the Marshalls Creek Fire Department and multiple other crews were called to the 200 block of Poco Lane in Smithfield Township for a fully involved fire. 28/22 News spoke with Monroe County Coroner Tom Yanic Jr. who says an individual died in the fire.
