Through investigation it was learned that all three defendants coordinated to come to Monroe County specifically to steal merchandise and resell it.

BRODHEADSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — 28/22 News is still waiting for the cause of a fire that completely destroyed a Monroe County auto body shop. The cause of that fire in Brodheadsville still remains unknown, but the family has set up a GoFundMe account to help them financially recover. According to the GoFundMe post, the family-owned garage lost everything from tools to cars.

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man was arrested after police say he was involved in a fight at Camelbeach Waterpark in Monroe County. On August 3 around 3:30 p.m., officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were called to Camelbeach for a report of a fight. Through further investigation, officers said they learned that a 54-year-old man from Bronx, New York assaulted another man which led to a fight.

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they arrested a man for allegedly breaking into and burglarizing a pizza shop in Monroe County. According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, on Sunday around 2:00 a.m. officers were called to North Ninth Street in Stroudsburg for a report of a broken window at the Pocono Pizza and Wings restaurant.  Police say on the scene they found two front windows smashed out with a metal chair and a 4x4 piece of wood lying nearby.

(WOLF) — Two people have been arrested in connection to a shooting back in 2022 in Stroudsburg.According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, Alexandra Hidalgo, 28, and Kylan Coombs, 25, were arrested in Broward County, Fla., on Monday for their alleged roles in a shooting in Stroudsburg on Aug. 7, 2022.

STROUD TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two people were arrested in Florida for their alleged involvement in a Monroe County shooting after a two-year-long investigation. According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, on August 2 Alexandra Hidalgo, 28, and Kylan Coombs, 25, were taken into custody in Miami, Florida, after a warrant was issued for their arrest on August 19, 2022. Investigators stated on August 7, 2022, around 1:42 a.m., officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 600 Block of Main Street.
