SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP Bucks County, Pennsylvania NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Solebury Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, will conduct a hybrid public hearing on May 6, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in person at the Township Building, located at 3092 Sugan Road, Solebury Township, PA 18963. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comment and public testimony regarding the proposed ordinance entitled, AN ORDINANCE OF SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, AMENDING THE SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE OF 1988, AS AMENDED, TO CREATE PROVISIONS FOR AGRICULTURAL ACCESSORY USES; AND TO AMEND THE TABLE OF USES TO PERMIT AGRICULTURAL ACCESSORY USES IN ALL ZONING DISTRICTS WHERE AGRICULTURE IS PERMITTED In summary, this proposed ordinance amends Section 27-202 of the Township Code of Ordinances to add definitions for the terms “agricultural accessory use,” “community supported agriculture (CSA),” “farm,” and “normal agricultural operation.” It amends Sections 27-402.1.B.(2) and 27-602.1.B.(2) to strike and replace the existing language with the phrase “Permitted Agricultural Accessory Uses shall be those uses described in §27-2603.1.A of this Ordinance.” It adds new Subsections 27-902.1.B(7), 27-1102.1.B.(7), 27-1302.1.B.(8), 27-1402.1.B(6), 27-1802.1.B.(5), 27-1902.1.B.(6), and 27-2002.1.B.(4), all of which add the phase “Permitted Agricultural Accessory Uses shall be those uses described in §27-2603.1.A of this Ordinance.” Additionally, it adds a new Subsection 27-1102.1.A.(7) to add the phrase “Agricultural uses and buildings subject to Part 26.” Finally, the proposed ordinance deletes existing Subsection 27-2603.1.A. in its entirely and replaces it with language pertaining to uses accessory to agricultural. The proposed ordinance has a partial repealer and a severability clause, as well a provision for the effective date five (5) days after approval and adoption. At the public meeting after the hearing, the Board of Supervisors may consider enactment of the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed ordinance may be reviewed at the Township Building, located at 3092 Sugan Road, Solebury Township, PA 18963 during normal business hours; a copy may be obtained for a charge not greater than the cost thereof.
