PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE Tobyhanna Township Zoning Hearing Board will conduct a public hearing at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building, 105 Government Center Way, Pocono Pines, PA 18350, on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the following: APPLICANTS Stewart and Barbara Abrams of PO Box 1070, Pocono Pines, PA 18350. Applicants seek a dimensional variance to the 15 ft. minimum side yard setback for single-family detached dwellings in the R-2 medium density residential district. Applicants propose to construct an 8 ft. x 10 ft. storage shed on the easterly side of an existing dwelling reducing a conforming 17.5 ft. setback to a non-conforming 9 ft. setback. Applicants urge the Board to grant a variance based in part upon Ordinance ยง155-10(C) 1 and 2. The property is located at 1177 Redwood Terrace, Pocono Pines, Lot 88, Unit 1, Sec. 9, Tax Map ID No. 19.5H.1.22. Any interested party may examine the plans and applications for this public notice during the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Tobyhanna Township Municipal Building on business days.
