PUBLIC NOTICE The Stroud Township Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Monday, May 12th, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the Stroud Township Municipal Center at 1211 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 to discuss ongoing planning business. The items scheduled for discussion include, but are not limited to: 1) A Request by the Board of Supervisors for a recommendation on an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to address the growth of data centers; 2) A referral from the Board of Supervisors Referral regarding a request by John and Christine Reehl for the Township to consider increased multi-family den- sity in certain areas; 3) Proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance to allow mixed commercial and residential use and age restricted housing as permitted uses in the C-1 Zoning District; and 4) A referral from the Board of Supervisors for a Zoning Map change for property located at 1409 N. 9th Street from a C-4 Zoning District with an EP-1 overlay to a C-2 Zoning District with an EP-1 overlay as well as consideration to change the property on the north side of North 9th Street across from the subject property from a C-4 Zoning District to a C-2 Zoning District; as well as any other business that may come before the Commission.
