ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for The Borough of Seven Springs Transportation Improvement Project Contract #1* Sidewalks and Contract #2*Storm Sewer, will be received by The Borough of Seven Springs. The projects consist of the following: Contract #1: The work will consist of installation of ADA accessible heated sidewalks and ramps, concrete curbing, stairs and pads. Contract #2: The work will consist of installation of stormwater collection and conveyance facilities, installation of waterline, and pavement restoration. The Contracts will be bid and awarded separately. Bids will be received by The Borough of Seven Springs at the Group Sales Office located at 777 Waterwheel Drive, Seven Springs, PA 15622, until 10:00 AM., local prevailing time on June 30, 2025. The bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the Seven Springs Borough Building at 11:00 AM., on June 30, 2025. Registered bidders will be invited to a pre-bid meeting to be scheduled in June. Each proposal shall be accompanied by security in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of The Borough of Seven Springs, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid in accordance with provisions of the Contract Documents. Contract Documents may be viewed at the office of Seven Springs Borough, 777 Waterwheel Drive, Seven Springs, PA 15622, between the hours of 9:00 AM. to 12:00 Noon and 1:00 PM. to 4:00 PM., Monday through Friday. Contract Documents may be obtained in electronic format by registering by email with LBS Environmental, LLC., at alexpoundsii@gmail.com or (724) 963-0765 between the hours of 10:00 AM. to 4:00 PM., Monday through Friday. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose names and addresses are on record as having registered to obtain the Contract Documents. Attention is directed to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap; that a mandatory ratio of apprentices and trainees to journeymen is required in each craft and that the Contractor (and any subcontractor) is obliged to make a diligent effort to achieve these ratios. The Borough of Seven Springs reserves the right to reject any or all bids, totally or in part, or to waive any formalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by The Borough of Seven Springs for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the Contract.
