(WBRE/WYOU)โ The Pennsylvania Department of transportation (PennDOT) is starting to implement speed and vehicle restrictions across major roadways in NEPA.
PennDOT has reduced the speed limit to 45 mph and restricting commercial vehicles to the right lane only on the following interstates:
- Interstate 80 in Luzerne County.
- Interstate 81 in Lackawanna, Luzerne, and Susquehanna counties.
- Interstate 84 in Lackawanna, Pike, and Wayne counties.
- Interstate 380 in Lackawanna and Wayne counties.
- Interstate 80 in Carbon and Monroe counties.
- Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.
- Interstate 380 in Monroe County.
- U.S. 22 in Northampton County.
- Route 33 in Monroe and Northampton counties.
PennDOT has reduced speed limits to 45 mph on the following interstates:
- Interstate 80 between mile marker 194 (Clinton / Union County line) and mile marker 247 (Columbia / Luzerne County line).
- Interstate 180 โ entire length.
