On May 2, 2025, at 11:11 a.m. the Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Home Depot in Stroud Township for a report of retail theft. Upon arrival loss prevention had a male identified as Zurab Rikadze in their office for retail theft. Through investigation it was learned that Rikadze, on two occasions during this day, loaded shopping carts full of merchandise and left the store without paying for a total of $973.67 worth of merchandise. A consent search of Rikadze's vehicle was done and the stolen merchandise was recovered. Rikadze was placed under arrest and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing.

Charges were filed and an arrest warrant was issued for Zurab Rikadze.
