HARRISBURG, June 18 – State Reps. Maureen Madden and Tarah Probst invite area women to discover all the opportunities that are available to them and their families from more than 60 organizations at their upcoming Women’s Expo.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at the Stroudsburg High School Cafeteria, 1100 W. Main St., Stroudsburg, 18360. No RSVP is required to attend.
The Stroudsburg Borough Council will consider enacting a Local Economic Revitalization Tax Assistance (LERTA) ordinance during Tuesday’s meeting.
The state LERTA Act allows “local taxing authorities to exempt new construction in deteriorated areas of economically depressed communities and improvements to certain deteriorated industrial, commercial and other business property.”
