The Stroudsburg High School Mock trial club began preparations for hosting a big competition on Nov 23, 2024. The club started the 2024-2025 school year with a large increase in student interest with more than 50 people joining the google classroom. Route 611 reopens

According to 69 News, Route 611 is reopening after two inactive years because of a rockslide caused by heavy rains in Dec. 2022. Currently, only a single lane is reopening; the full road will not reopen until a permanent solution is found. Originally, the road was set to fully reopen this month.
