The Borough of East Stroudsburg enacted a short term rental ordinance in 2021. The ordinance requires licensing and a list of requirements including the use of a private trash hauler. Cartwright, from Moosic, has been a major advocate to restore rail service between Scranton and New York City.
Tuesday, The Lady Mountaineers won over district rival Pocono Mountain East for the second time this season 53-36.
The Mountaineers and Cardinals fought a competitive game. They were neck and neck throughout the first and second quarters. They kept finding themselves tied with the Cardinals 18-18, 24-24, and 28-28. The Mountaineers took the lead after the third quarter putting them at a 31-28.
