PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ENACT PROPOSED ORDINANCE The Board of Supervisors of Stroud Township will hold a special public meeting on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. at the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 N. 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 with respect to a proposed ordinance that would establish requirements for proper disposal of pet solid waste in Stroud Township. At the time of the special public meeting, the Supervisors will listen to comments by members of the public concerning the proposed ordinance.

The faithful from several churches are "Walking For Christ" in observance of Good Friday.

The walk began at St. John's Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg.

It's based on the last steps in the life of Jesus and takes the group to six area churches.

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — For decades, several churches and the faithful in Monroe County have come together to ‘Walk for Christ’ in observance of Good Friday.

Crowds of people cross the street in Stroudsburg, all with the same goal in mind to walk the stations of the cross.

In observance of Good Friday, this "Cross Walk" has taken place in the borough for more than thirty years.
