The borough of Stroudsburg has implemented a new Short-term Rental Ordinance and refined zoning regulations to prohibit short term rentals in residential districts (R-1, R-2 and R-3) and allow it in all other zoning districts. What is your favorite part of being in the Stroudsburg district?
So many things! Students, Staff and the relationships I have built. I’m lucky to be able to teach in the district I grew up in and to raise my family as Mountaineers is definitely a big bonus.
If you had gone into another profession, what would it be and why?
I think I would have ended up doing something in the areas of Psychology or Sociology. I am a helper by nature.
From November 7 to November 9, 2024, Stroudsburg Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) took a seven hour drive to Columbus, Ohio, where they attended the National Fall Leadership Conference (NFLC).
The group included seniors, Jessica Haggerty, Gabriella Parker, Alishbeth Guepet, William Awuah, Jaden Harper, Alexis Binikos, and Rebecca Dishong, accompanied by Mrs. Jodie Haggerty and Mrs. Maureen Verway.
