Presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. ARRESTDetails MapOn July 16th, 2025, at 1224 hours Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Camelback Resort located at 193 Resort DR for 2 dogs that were in distress locked inside of a vehicle that was not on.
Officers arrived on scene and observed 2 dogs and 2 bunnies that were inside of a vehicle that was not running with the windows barely cracked and the animals in clear distress.
Officers were able to track the operator of the vehicle, identified as 34-year-old Luis Caceres of Thomasville, NC, the defendant in this matter, who was inside Aquatopia water park.
Caceres was taken into custody and transported to MCCF for processing where he was then released.
Charges have been filed in regard to this matter.
