On July 14, 2025 at approximately 1652 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence in Penn Estates for a report of a juvenile male in crisis. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the juvenile and observed injuries to his neck and ear. Throughout investigations, it was found that Mark Murdock, a 52-year-old male from East Stroudsburg, and his son were in a physical altercation where Murdock left visible injuries on his son. Murdock was ultimately placed under arrest for Simple Assault and Harassment.
