On early Sunday morning, October 27, students were enjoying a Halloween costume party at Zimbar Gym when people noticed many non-students entering the party. They called the police for help, and soon after they arrived, five shots went off in a nearby parking lot. Luckily, no one was harmed. A couple of people have been detained for questioning. TOBYHANNA TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police charged a man after they allege he threatened troopers while being arrested for a hit-and-run incident. According to Pennsylvania State Police, on October 25 troopers were called to investigate a driver that almost hit another car in Tobyhanna Township. Police say the vehicle fit the description of a hit-and-run crash that occurred in Wilkes-BarreCity earlier that evening.
