Public Notice to Bid Pocono YMCA Swimming pool RFP Sordoni Construction Services Inc. Is soliciting bids for Bid Package No. 1350 (Swimming Pool) for the Pocono Family YMCA 809 Main St. Stroudsburg. This project is subject to Pennsylvania LSA Grant retirements. Bids will be received at Sordoni Construction Service's office located at 45 Owen Street, Forty Fort, PA 18704 on or before Friday August 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM, at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Plans, Specifications, and other documents constituting the Contract Documents are available at no cost at Building Connected website. Bidders may also obtain the contract documents from Goldstar Wide Format located at 37 North Washington Street, Wilkes Barre, PA 18701, 570-270-5566. All costs associated with obtaining copies of contract documents shall be paid for by the bidding contractors. Each proposal must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty, in the amount stipulated in the contract documents, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or a bid bond, in the form prescribed in the Contract Documents, with satisfactory corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, naming as payee (or obligee as applicable) the Pocono Family YMCA. Acceptance of the successful bidder's proposal shall be in the form of a contingent Notice of Award. Upon receipt of such Notice of Award, the successful bidder must furnish, 1) Contract Bonds in the forms prescribed in the Contract Documents; 2) evidence of required insurance as detailed in the Contract Documents: and 3) a signed and notarized Form of Agreement in the form provided in the Contract Documents, all prior to receiving a Notice to Proceed. Sordoni reserves the right to reject any proposal that is not in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders or has not completed all lines of the bid form. Except as expressly provided for in these specifications, no proposals may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date specified for receiving, opening, and reading of proposals. The time allowed for completion shall be as set forth in the Contract Documents. All Contracts will start immediately. Sordoni Construction reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or parts thereof or items therein and to waive any defects or irregularities in proposals.
