Angelou was a civil rights activist who worked for Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King. Her earlier careers involved being a singer, dancer, actress, and composer. In 1969, Angelou published her astounding autobiography, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sing”, making her a national figure overnight.

Eating up the Super Bowl

The 2025 Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs is only days away.  There will be parties held all over the country to watch this favorited event and the food is just as important as the game. Is your menu ready?  Different foods define a party.  A various selection of Stroudsburg students listed the one food that defines their Super Bowl party. A poll of ten students found that three students preferred wings, three students preferred nachos, and four students preferred other foods.  Chicken wings have been a popular sports food. In a poll from The Poultry Federation, it is estimated that Americans will consume about 1.47 billion chicken wings for the upcoming Super Bowl.
