Short Story Club to Discuss "The Veldt" by Ray Bradbury

If you're looking for thought provoking science fiction, you're guaranteed to find it with Ray Bradbury. In this short story, ""The Veldt," we meet George and Lydia who are concerned about their new automated house and the effects that it's having on their children. The children are obsessed with the virtual entertainment room and refuse to give it up. And they won't give it up without a fight. We'll be discussing Bradbury's story on Tuesday, November 8th at 2pm on the 2nd floor of the library. You can pick up a copy of The Veldt at the circulation desk.
