Monroe County Democratic Women

The purpose of the MCDW shall be to promote women to a more active interest and participation in governmental affairs and to promote the fundamental principles that the Democratic Party represents.

Our Democratic Women not only “Break the Glass Ceiling” but strive to create an “Open Door” for “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Meetings: 7:00 pm / 4th Wednesday of February, March, April, May, June, September, October and November. No meeting in January, July, August or December

Who is running for township supervisor, commissioner in Monroe County?

Monroe County's townships have supervisor and, in Pocono Township's case, commissioner elections in 2025.

March 11 was the deadline for candidates to file. Primary elections will be held on May 20. The voter registration deadline is May 5.

Barrett Township

One six-year term is up.

Democrat Sean Anlauf filed to run.

Republicans Grover J. Cleveland and Grant Hilfiger filed to run.

Cleveland is currently a supervisor.

Chestnuthill Township

One six-year term is up.

Democrat Jeffrey S. Weiss filed to run.
