Arrests made after days of disturbance, including shots fired, at Monroe County residence

TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP, MONROE CO. (WOLF) —

A shots fired investigation is underway in Monroe County, according to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.

On Monday, the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department said it was dispatched to a suspicious male on Route 196 and Renaissance Lane in Coolbaugh Township. The call indicated there was a Hispanic male running through private property and then onto State Route 196 with no shoes and appeared in distress.

Township Accepting Sealed Bids for Sale of CCP Golf Course

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, shall sell by sealed bid certain real and related personal property (collectively, the “Property”) owned by Middle Smithfield Township.  Sealed bids will be received by Middle Smithfield Township until 4:00 pm EST on June 11, 2024.  All bids shall be received by Middle Smithfield Township at its offices at the Schoonover Municipal Building, 147 Municipal Drive, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18302.
