PUBLIC NOTICE OF COMMITTEE MEETINGS TAKE NOTICE that the Bo-rough Council of Delaware Water Gap’s November Shade Tree Committee meeting scheduled on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, the Finance/Budget Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024, has been rescheduled to Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Both committee meetings will be held at the Borough Building, 49 Main Street, Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania 18327.

DELAWARE WATER GAP, MONROE COUNTY — October is recognized nationwide as domestic violence awareness month, a time to shed light on resources and stand with those affected.

Someone is always there to answer the call at Safe Monroe in Delaware Water Gap.

The non-profit, formerly known as the Women’s Resources of Monroe County, is the domestic and sexual abuse center for the entire county.

“We provided services to over 980 adults and children dealing with domestic abuse,” said Lauren Peterson, Executive Director, of Safe Monroe.
