The Borough of East Stroudsburg enacted a short term rental ordinance in 2021. The ordinance requires licensing and a list of requirements including the use of a private trash hauler. East Stroudsburg University senior Kathryn Pabon participated in The Washington Center’s (TWC) Career Launch Bootcamp, March 20-23 in Washington, D.C. The program is a four-day bootcamp designed to equip students with the strategies, content and connections needed to empower their job search. Pabon is graduating in May with a degree in communication and a minor in political science.

Mounties softball swept East Stroudsburg South in a game of 9-0 with seven total innings. The first game win is in the books!
Many speculated that the game would be postponed due to predicted rain; all coaches agreed to move the game up by one hour for a 3 p.m. start.
Stroudsburg gained 4 runs in the first inning. Hits by Elena Trotter, ‘25, Dorothy “Dot” Elko, ‘26, and a walk for Izzy Molinero, ‘25, got the ball rolling for Stroudsburg.
