The borough of Stroudsburg has implemented a new Short-term Rental Ordinance and refined zoning regulations to prohibit short term rentals in residential districts (R-1, R-2 and R-3) and allow it in all other zoning districts. Operation Christmas Wish had the biggest gift-giving event in its 12-year history, giving gifts to local children at Stroudsmoor Terraview Inn, along with dinner for the families.
The organization gave gifts to 110 children and will be shipping gifts to another 30 children in North Carolina.

STROUDSBURG, Pa. — The man accused of homicide for killing someone earlier this year at a bar in Monroe County is back in Pennsylvania and awaiting trial, the county district attorney said.
On Friday, December 6, the Stroudsburg High School co-ed swim team took on Delaware Valley High School at home. The final scores of the meet were Girls 35-59 and Boys 42 to 52.
The team has had two meets so far going 1-1 in those contests. The swim team has many new members this year and the coaches are excited to see where they take us.
