The borough of Stroudsburg has implemented a new Short-term Rental Ordinance and refined zoning regulations to prohibit short term rentals in residential districts (R-1, R-2 and R-3) and allow it in all other zoning districts. The project started with preliminary planning back in 2018 and construction began in 2021.
The project architect and manager say the biggest challenge for the project was keeping the courthouse open and functioning while also closing certain areas during construction.

Police say it happened at a Wawa just feet away from a high school.
"It's just heartbreaking to lose a young one. And he was a sweet boy," said Stroudsburg resident Sharon Nedd.
Nedd's daughter was friends with the victim of Saturday's deadly shooting in Stroudsburg. She says it was a senseless act of violence.
