Two teens accused of committing multiple crimes

MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say two teens went on a crime spree across Monroe County, leading to shootings and burglary incidents. On April 26, around 5:00 a.m., state police say they were called to Fairview Circle in Chestnuthill Township, for the report of a house window being shot at sometime overnight. Two people were home when the shooting occurred. Throughout the morning, several incidents were reported to state police that were similar to the shooting and close in proximity.

Police looking to identify suspect after monument vandalized

EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are asking the public for help identifying a man they say vandalized a monument at a local high school. Stroud Area Regional Police say around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday a man drove into the Notre Dame High School parking lot.

East Stroudsburg Fire Victim Speaks Out, Thanks Heroes

A Monroe County fire victim is thanking her heroes and speaking out about the tragedy, in a story you'll only see on News13. Tomorrow will be one month since the deadly fire broke out in East Stroudsburg. While we  still do not know the cause of the blaze at the the Wander Inn Apartment Building, a couple who made it out is counting their blessings.
