Tonight on 28/22 News, we will show you video of one of those suspected drones spotted near Brodheadsville, Monroe County. Report It!: Send Us Your Pictures and Videos It's the talk of the nation, reports of hundreds of sightings of what appear to be drones over the Garden State... and now in the Poconos. Federal, state and local officials are trying to get to the bottom of the mystery.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, the infamous Eras Tour came to a close. Taylor Swift toured the world for two years, taking magic, music, and memories and tying them into one historic friendship bracelet. The original announcement for the Eras Tour came on Nov. 1, 2022, as fans then began to sign up for pre-sale and await their confirmation codes. Pre-sale occurred on Nov. 15, 2022 causing the Ticketmaster website debacle.  Ticketmaster sent out codes the night previous to pre-sale, which had fans thrilled over the chance to get tickets to their favorite singer’s concerts. However, too many codes were sent out and not enough protection was taken to make sure that pre-sale holders got first in line.  “ The Eras Tour was the best night ever! The way that Taylor connects with the audience, is what made the tour so much fun. Everyone around me was enjoying it!

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Today is Friday the 13th, so if you are superstitious, you may believe it to be an unlucky day but for some, they are looking for new ink. A line forms outside of Rock’n Willy’s Tattoo and Piercing Shop in Stroudsburg, everyone waiting for one thing. "I’m here to get a tattoo! I mean this is great, Friday the 13th is awesome," said Rhiannon Malarkey, Jim Thorpe. Malarkey is one of many that run toward tattoo shops when a Friday date lands on 13. "It’s like Black Friday at a tattoo shop," said Led Perez, tattoo artist at Rock’n Willy’s Tattoo and Piercing Shop. Drone sightings in Monroe County? After a long and exhausting 17-year campaign and eight failed attempts to push legislation through the house and senate, Colombia has finally outlawed child marriage.  According to The Guardian, a debate was held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, where legislators discussed the issue at hand. After the five hour debate, the bill was approved into law, with the motto “They are Girls, Not Wives,” backing their final decision.  The country of Colombia is now among twelve out of 33 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean to illegalize marriage under the age of 18. The ruling ended the 137-year-old loophole within the country’s civil code, which allowed the marriage of minors with the consent of the parental figures.
