Arrest made after fight at Camelbeach Waterpark

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man was arrested after police say he was involved in a fight at Camelbeach Waterpark in Monroe County. On August 3 around 3:30 p.m., officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were called to Camelbeach for a report of a fight. Through further investigation, officers said they learned that a 54-year-old man from Bronx, New York assaulted another man which led to a fight. Driver wanted after alleged hit-and-run injures 13-year-old The accused was found inside his car and officers also believed he was under the influence of alcohol, police stated.

Crews battle Brodheadsville auto shop blaze

BRODHEADSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Crews were called after a fire broke out in a Brodheadsville auto shop Monday afternoon. Just after 5:00 p.m., several crews were called to Dairy Lane in Brodheadsville for a reported structure fire at an auto shop. PD: Duryea fire call turns into drug bust Details are limited at this time however we can confirm no one was hurt. It's unclear at the time if the auto shop received any damage and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
