Suspect wanted for alleged retail theft at CVS
CHESTNUT HILL TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police say they are searching for a suspect involved in a retail theft at CVS.
On July 12 around 8:30 p.m., troopers were called to CVS at the intersection of Route 209 and Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township for a reported retail theft.

Driver flown to hospital after truck crash in Monroe County
POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A driver of a dump truck has been flown to the hospital after crashing in Monroe County.
The Pocono Township Fire Department tells 28/22 News that crews were called around 11:00 a.m. Monday to a vehicle crash with someone possibly trapped on North Easton Belmont Pike.

Crews on the scene stated a dump truck rolled over, the driver was injured and stuck in the vehicle. The Pocono Township Volunteer Fire Company assisted with extracting the driver and truck up the embankment.

Three dirt bike riders wanted for alleged reckless driving
POCONO TWP., MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for three dirt bike riders after they say the trio were recklessly driving in residential areas.
On July 4, the Pocono Township Police Department saw three dirt bikes driving recklessly on Route 611. Officers tried to pull the group over when they realized the vehicles were unregistered.
PD: Three wanted after basketball game ends with gun threats
Instead of stopping, the three riders drove at a high rate of speed and did wheelies through residential areas while families were outside, police stated.
Investigators noted the riders have been an ongoing hazard to the public as they continuously drive recklessly down the center lane of Route 611 and in residential areas.
