The proposed Ordinance would eliminate Self-Storage Facilities as defined in Polk code 400-841 as a permitted use in a Commercial Zone, and add the use as a Conditional Use in an R-3 Village Center zone. Such use would continue to be a Conditional Use in a Commercial district. The Amendment also requires a minimum of five (5) acres for a Self-Storage Facility. Stroudsburg Softball’s season comes to an end
Stroudsburg softball concludes the 2025 season with an impressive record of 13-5.
On Tuesday, the Lady Mountaineers retired with a loss to the Easton Red Rovers. They trailed behind with a score of 2-0 for almost the entire game. Easton collected three hits that put them in the lead, while Stroudsburg could only get two hits. Previously, they had won against Easton in an early-season game with a score of 10-6.

Fifth Annual Pocono Pride Festival fills Stroudsburg streets
STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The month of June marks Pride Month, and the heart of the Poconos kicked it off on Sunday in a big way. The Fifth Annual Pocono Pride Festival filled the streets of downtown Stroudsburg Sunday afternoon.
A huge crowd turned out for the event featuring dozens of food and craft vendors.
Pride flags hung from light posts, and live performances from musicians to drag performers filled the festival's center stage.
Organizers say the event aims to bring the community together by celebrating love.
