Willie & The Poor Boys Featuring Mark Hamza

Willie and the Poor Boys were formed in 1985 in the Poconos when three high school friends got together and started jamming and making up songs. These three friends, Willie Fisher, Gary Gravatt and Scott Lollis, were later joined by Joe Ecker and Rob Sawyer and soon thereafter they started playing in local bars and pubs in the Poconos, PA. The band was playing primarily Grateful Dead music, and it wasn’t long before they gained a following and started a unique and vibrant community seen. Everyone was going to see Willie and the Poor Boys. It was a tight-knit family of friends.
