The proposed Ordinance would eliminate Self-Storage Facilities as defined in Polk code 400-841 as a permitted use in a Commercial Zone, and add the use as a Conditional Use in an R-3 Village Center zone. Such use would continue to be a Conditional Use in a Commercial district. The Amendment also requires a minimum of five (5) acres for a Self-Storage Facility.
